Vartan Ibranyan (Managing Director, Lugano)

Mr. Ibranyan joined Fairfield after being more than three years as Vice President with a Merger & Acquisition advisory firm. Based in New York and subsequently in Frankfurt, he focused on executing intra-European and U.S. to Europe M&A transactions. From 1996 to 1999, he worked with BNP and Banque Paribas (M&A Advisory Services) in Paris, where he accumulated significant experience advising large European clients on cross-border transactions. Mr. Ibranyan received his MBA degree from ESADE and is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Italian and Armenian.

Cristian Iniesta (Managing Director, Lugano)

Mr. Iniesta joined Fairfield from a Merger & Acquisition advisory firm based in New York and Frankfurt, where he was a Vice President for more than two years and completed a number of intra-European and U.S. to Europe M&A transactions. He previously was with General Electric’s Industrial Systems business unit, where he was Finance Manager for the Netherlands. He had previously held corporate finance positions with GE in Germany and the U.S. Mr. Iniesta, who received an MBA from ESADE, is fluent in English, German, Italian and Spanish.

Michael Beard (Director, London)

Mr. Beard joined Fairfield in 2008 with the opening of Fairfield’s London office. Mr. Beard has held senior management positions within several large UK based companies (Unigate, Kerry Ingredients, McCormicks Industrial) since the mid 1980s and, more recently has participated in a number of private equity ventures. Mr. Beard has particular knowledge and contacts within the food and beverage industry in the UK as well as in turnaround situations.

Francesco Brighenti (Vice President, Lugano)

Mr. Brighenti joined Fairfield from a Senior Manager position at Ernst & Young in Milan, Italy, with a six year experience within transaction support services, focusing on Due Diligence related activities for merger & acquisition transactions. Prior to that, he worked for two years with Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Brighenti holds a university degree from Luigi Bocconi School of Economics and is fluent in Italian, English and German.

Leonardo Stortini (Vice President, Lugano)

Mr. Stortini joined Fairfield from a Senior Manager position at Ernst & Young Financial Business Advisory in Milan, Italy, with a five year experience within transaction support services, focusing on Due Diligence related activities for merger & acquisition transactions. Prior to that, he worked for three years with Reconta Ernst & Young in the Assurance department. Mr. Stortini holds a university degree from Luigi Bocconi School of Economics and is fluent in Italian and English.
